American Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (AES) is a locally owned and operated Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Consulting firm. The company was founded in 1985 with a focus on providing outstanding professional service as well as an excellent work product. For over twenty years we have striven to maintain the highest level of customer trust and satisfaction with timely and cost-effective completion of projects presented to our firm. Our clients in the area include residential and commercial property developers and contractors, regulatory agencies, industrial operation facilities and the private landowner.
At AES we believe firmly upon the respect and support of our industry peers and we are active members in the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Maryland & Delaware Societies of Surveyors, the Maryland & Delaware Societies of Professional Engineers and the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce.
EXPERIENCE
In over twenty years of service, our firm has gained valuable experience completing thousands of consulting, civil engineering & land surveying projects. In addition, we have worked diligently to establish a relationship of trust and respect with the various local, regional and state regulatory agencies with whom we work to provide professional services. Our team of engineers, surveyors, designers and technicians have a wide range of knowledge and talent and strive to maximize the use of their expertise for the benefit of our clients. And as always, AES continues to seek out possibilities for growth and expansion and to better our reputation for providing quality services.
KEY PERSONNEL
President – Stanly P. Granger, Jr., Professional Land Surveyor
AES was founded in 1985 by Mr. Stanly P. Granger, Jr. A registered professional land surveyor in Maryland and Delaware, Mr. Granger has successfully managed and completed hundreds of projects since the company’s inception. Under Mr. Granger’s direction the company has grown to include three principals, a land surveying team, a civil engineering team, designers, and supporting office staff.
Vice President – Kordell R. Wilen, Professional EngineerWith the company since 1988 and a registered professional engineer in Maryland and Delaware since 1989, Mr. Wilen’s daily responsibilities include the successful supervision of our firm’s civil engineering team, engineering design, contract negotiation and firm management.
Vice President – Timothy G. Granger, Professional Land Surveyor
With the company since its inception and a registered professional land surveyor since 2004, Mr. Granger’s responsibilities include the successful supervision of our firm’s land surveying team, operations management, contract negotiation and firm management.
